Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Sheila is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She since calls Texas home, where she lives with her husband of many years and a sweet chocolate lab. Holding several managerial and accounting positions over the years, Sheila continued to write as thoughts and dialogues, paragraphs and poems were put to paper then put aside, until a concept conceived in eighth grade made an unexpected, yet dogged reappearance. Discovering Caroline is her debut novel.
